SALOTTO DELL’ETNA

The 2025 edition of the Salotto dell’Etna, the summer event promoted by the Municipality of Trecastagni to showcase the historic center through local crafts and food and wine, has concluded.

Several collaborations have enriched the program, attracting thousands of visitors: from the collaboration during the first weekend with the Trecastagni Foundation for the initiative “The Volcano Festival”, to the partnership with the Italian Sommelier Foundation for evenings dedicated to quality wine and food and wine, with the participation of Chefs Federica Di Lieto and Valentina Rasà, performers of two magical evenings in the shadow of the Matrix with the pairing of dishes with wines from the producers of Etna di Trecastagni.

There’s also room for culture, with the “Scintille letterarie” festival, which featured authors of national importance, one of them Conchita Di Gregorio.

Artisans, painters, sculptors and live music provided the backdrop for the event.

The event was made possible thanks to the contributions and availability of the Region, the Metropolitan City, the Etna Salotto Committee, residents of the historic center, municipal offices, the Carabinieri, and the local police.

“The Salotto dell’Etna has now reached an organizational maturity that places it as one of the most important events in the Etna area” – declared Giuseppe Messina Mayor. “We will multiply our efforts to continue growing and propose events increasingly in line with the valorization of the Trecastagnese territory”.

Tourism Councilor Edmondo Pappalardo was also satisfied: “We implemented important synergies so as not to offer the usual fair, but an event in which quality craftsmanship, culture, and food and wine contributed to making Trecastagni an essential spot in the Etna summer. Let’s hope we’ve succeeded. Now we’re rolling up our sleeves for the 2026 edition”.
